Random Dinners Club is a unique platform dedicated to organising dining events. Our mission is to foster new connections that we hope will blossom into friendships. We aim to transform random dinners into unforgettable culinary adventures. Through our platform, users can reserve a seat at a dinner, meet new people, and broaden their social circles.
Absolutely anyone. While many of our members are single, we are not a dating service. It's also common for people to attend dinners with their partners. Couples are equally welcome.
Signing up at RandomDinners.Club is completely free and straightforward. You'll be asked about 10-15 questions. Your responses help us match you with a group where new friendships are likely to form.
To secure a seat at a dinner, you must either purchase a ticket or opt for a monthly or annual membership. Please note, the dinner cost is not covered by these fees and is paid by each attendee. Steps include:
Ticket prices are €9.97 (including a 50% launch discount). Subscription options are monthly (€19.97) or yearly (€99.77 every 12 months). Account creation and completion of the personality quiz are prerequisites for dinner reservations. All bookings and payments are processed via our platform.
Important: We guarantee availability at our dinners, as we do not limit the number of tables we reserve in the city. We welcome everyone, regardless of age, sexuality, or language, provided you speak the local language or are fluent in English.
To join a Friday dinner, you must register by 23:59 (UTC+00:00) on the preceding Wednesday. Post-deadline, registrations close to allow our algorithm to optimally group participants for dinner. Registrations after Wednesday will be moved to the next Friday's dinner.
This scheduling ensures the best possible experience for all attendees and the most suitable group matches. Remember to check the booking date to avoid any misunderstandings.
For subscribers: A subscription guarantees a weekly seat, but you must book your seat for each dinner, ensuring attendance and a group size of 5 to 8 participants.
Timing: Dinners are always on Friday evenings, lasting between 2 and 3 hours, depending on group dynamics.
Location: The restaurant's address is shared on Friday morning, giving ample time for planning.
Restaurant Selection: We choose from the city's most exciting restaurants. Our algorithm attempts to accommodate dietary restrictions, though this can be challenging for strict vegans.
Cost and Payment: We aim for restaurants where a 3-course meal costs between €25 to €45 (£35 to £55 in the UK) per person, excluding drinks. Prices vary by meal choice. Note that Random Dinners Club staff do not attend the dinners, leaving groups to manage their bills responsibly.
Dinner times are adapted to local customs, as follows:
Cancellation: You must cancel via your account by 23:59 (UTC+00:00) on Wednesday (not by email or WhatsApp) to receive a refund. Post-deadline, refunds are not possible. Out of respect for others, please cancel if you can't attend. Failure to cancel more than three times may prevent future bookings.
Random Dinner Club does not reschedule missed reservations. If you haven't cancelled by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday (for the same week's dinner), your reservation is forfeited without the option to change dates.
Subscribers: Subscribers can cancel anytime, but repeated last-minute cancellations may lead to subscription cancellation to maintain dinner quality.
Refund Processing: Refunds appear in your account within 1 to 10 days. Contact support for any issues.
The personality test is crafted to understand your preferences, interests, and personality traits better. This insight helps us match you with like-minded individuals at dinners. Completing the test is a crucial step in the registration process and is necessary to book a dinner seat.
Once your account is set up, our algorithm starts working to find a compatible group for you, indicating when you can book a seat. Upon payment (or free booking through your subscription), we'll send a confirmation email. This is the time to verify the correct date. After registration closes and groups are finalised on Thursday, you'll receive information about your group's composition, such as spoken language and average age. On the day, you'll get an email to check your group's assigned restaurant in the app. If you haven't received an email by 1 pm on Friday, please contact us on WhatsApp. We value your feedback post-dinner to help us improve. Expect an email to share your experience.
We're not a dating platform like Tinder or Bumble. Our aim is to connect you with interesting people over dinner, without any biases. While everyone is welcome, we strive to create a balanced and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
